Richard became one of the three owner/directors of DCS in 2004 and has, in essence, been involved with the company since the very beginning. Early on in his career he became the founder's day-to-day contact at the company's accountants, and in the 1980s, Richard set up his own accountancy firm and was soon employed by DCS as a business consultant. He was persuaded to join the company full-time in 2001 as the Finance Manager and is now reponsible for all financial and HR matters.
Julian jointly bought DCS with the two other directors after 18 years at the company, having started in 1986. His illustrious sales career began in Exeter's Dingles (now House of Fraser) department store, and due to his unerring passion for selling he was employed by DCS to join their growing sales team. He is now in charge of the current team of sales people and is the driving force behind our long-standing commitment to customer service and value for money.
Mike was also a long-serving manager who took over the company with Richard and Julian in 2004. He started in 1982 as one of only three staff as a delivery driver, working his way up within two years to the purchasing department where he implemented and ran the company's first computer installation. Mike became the General Manager in 2001 before buying DCS three years later, and is now ultimately responsible for purchasing, warehousing and logistics.
