DCS was started as a small family business by founder Keith Ayling in 1973 selling basic stationery supplies to local firms. He quickly built up an impressive customer base and moved the business to its first premises in Marsh Barton soon after.
By 1988 DCS had expanded enough to demand more space and a new building was purpose-built in nearby Cofton Road. The company has remained there to this day and all DCS staff are based at this location.
After many successful years trading, Keith decided it was time to retire in 2004 and sold the business to his three long-serving managers who are now the equal owner/directors of DCS.
DCS proudly celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2008, and many of the original customers still buy from us today. This is a testiment to how the original principles of excellent customer service and a great product are still just as relevant in today's demanding work environment.
